In the silence chattering frogs twittering birds dog barks fan whirls faint steel drum screechy parrot dogs in chorus insect song trees' interior conversation in a slower time zone time dance rain's a'coming rain's over wet and happy Trinidad.
I've had two fantasy novels published. "The Nightwing's Quest" (reprinted by Noth Press in 2015) is a dark elven adventure, and "The Silver Reindeer" is a fantasy for teens and young adults. I also have a multi-genre collection of short stories, "Amphibious Dreamers." My short story "Masks" has been published in the Climate Fiction Anthology "Everything Change," as one of 12 finalists in the Climate Fiction Contest sponsored by Arizona State University.
Several other short stories have appeared in anthologies: A children's story entitled "The Bully" in "aMUSEing tales" by Fantastic Books Publishing, a science fiction story called "Nothing Spared" in "Strange Tales 4" published by Lizard Skin Press, and a vampire tale in "The Darkest Thirst." My poem "For the Samburu Warrior" was published in the poetry anthology "Veils, Halos and Shackles" - International Poetry on the Opression and Empowerment of Women. I did a reading in Sleepy Hollow, New York in the Spring, which was most enjoyable. I am currently in the process of editing three novels and two collections of poetry.
Writing is my calling, but painting is my dharma. I walk in nature to clear my head. The rest is just fiction.
